East Bridgewater is a town in Plymouth County and is located about 27 miles southeast of Boston. The town was originally part of Olde Bridgewater, but separated and incorporated as its own town in 1823. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places is East Bridgewater Common Historic District. This district is centered on the town common and the oldest houses in the district date to 1703.
