The town of Hull is located on a peninsula at the southern edge of Boston Harbor. The town has a total area of 26.9 square miles, of which only 2.8 square miles is land. Hull was once home to Paragon Park, which closed in 1984. Today, all that remains of the park is the carousel and the clock tower. The wooden roller coaster, called “The Giant Coaster”, that was once part of the park is now located at Six Flags America in Maryland and is known as “The Wild One”. Hull has been the summer home to notable people like President Calvin Coolidge and former Boston mayor John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald.
